About this Training Course

The commonly called Responsible Conduct of Gaming or RCC Unit has been replaced by the unit SITHGAM006A Provide Responsible Gambling Services (RSG). RSG is the the mandatory module designed to provide students with a responsible approach to gambling practices. Our course provides students with the relevant training from true industry professionals who consistently remain up-to date with current Industry trends and practices.

Course Aim
The aim of this training course is to provide participants with the knowledge and understanding required to act responsibly when working in a gaming venue, with the intention that they can perform their duties in the workplace with greater awareness of the responsibilities in relation to the law, customer service, and duty of care and harm minimisation.

Prerequisites

1 form of Photo ID is required to be shown on the day of course. Suitable ID includes:
• Passport
• Drivers Licence
• Proof of Age Card
• Original Birth Certificate

- TO ATTEND THIS RSG COURSE YOU MUST BE AT LEAST 16 YEARS OF AGE. If you are under 18 years of age, you will require written parental approval and your full Birth Certificate.

Course Outcomes – National Statement of Attainment and OLRG Certificates issued same day on successful completion

Duration: 6 hours face-to-face with assessment occurring in the workplace or a simulated work environment

Booking and paying for the RSA & RCG attracts a reduced fee for the person undertaking the two courses.

What to wear?

Dress comfortable but neatly please. Enclosed shoes (required for OHS purposes). Long hair must be tied/pinned back for OHS reasons
